What does a carpenter in Wollongong actually do?
Two halves of the one trade. Structural carpentry is the timber that holds a house up — wall frames, bearers and joists, subfloors, roof timbers. Finish carpentry is the timber you see and touch, so doors, architraves, skirting, linings and cabinetry.
Between the two sits most of what we get called for around the Illawarra: decks, pergolas and patios, sheds and carports, fencing, eaves and fascia repairs, and the rot and repair work that comes with older coastal homes. It's an owner-run business, so you deal with Dave from the quote through to the clean-up.

Flat-packs, clotheslines, shelving, a gate that drags, a door that won't shut, a step gone soft — write the list and we'll work through as much of it as we can in the one visit. That's cheaper for you than a callout per item, and most lists get knocked over in a morning.
